Primary lockup

Full colour on a light surface. The default for the site header, README, documents and slides. The wordmark is DM Sans ExtraBold, outlined to paths so the file needs no font.

The gap follows the size

Gap = 0.19 × mark height + 3 px. A gap that is a fixed fraction of the mark reads as nothing at 16 px and fine at 128 px, so it is not a fraction: small lockups get proportionally more air, large ones settle to the display ratio — the same size-specific spacing the wordmark’s own typeface carries on its optical-size axis. Each file is drawn for the mark height it will be seen at: the SVG above for 128 px, each PNG for the mark inside it, and the small lockup — simplified mark — for 24 px. Set a lockup at a size in between and the gap is the rule, not the nearest file.

Inverse — on dark

The box keeps its colour; the type inverts and the gate moves to light tones — navy on black is a 1.1:1 contrast and the gate would vanish. For dark interfaces and dark slides.

Monochrome

Navy on light: one hue in three tones with white decals, as reviewed. White on dark is a single ink — every hairline, the tape and the crest are cut out of it, so whatever is behind shows through. Use it on photographs, engraving, embroidery and a partner’s dark footer.

On brand blue

On #2e5bff the colour mark’s box vanishes into the paper, so the kit carries a knockout: white faces, the gate stays navy, and the tape and crest take the blue the faces gave up. Nothing blue sits on blue.

Which file on which surface

White, black, brand blue and transparent. Every SVG and PNG in the kit is background-free unless its filename names the paper (the social cards and the app tile).

The mark alone, at real pixel sizes

The honest test. Each is the same SVG at that size. The crest is the TestifySec crest projected onto the face; the box edges carry the same line weight as the crest’s rim. Below 32 px the torn tape edge and the crest’s cut-outs dissolve, so the kit ships a simplified small-size mark — straight tape edge, solid crest — and the favicon is built from that.

App tile and favicon treatments

Squircle on white, on brand blue with the knockout, and on dark with the single ink. The Apple touch icon is the knockout on a square blue tile; iOS rounds it. The favicon is the simplified knockout mark on the blue tile — a tab strip is dark as often as light, and the tile carries the mark on both.

Wordmark alone

Same cap height and margin as the lockup, so the two files share a scale. Navy on light, white on dark or blue.

Clear space

Clear space is twice the thickness of the gate bar, on all sides, measured from the ink. The small square is one bar thickness; the tinted band is two. Nothing else — type, other marks, the edge of the page — comes inside it.

Minimum sizes

The lockup with its mark no smaller than 24 px tall, and below 32 px only as the small lockup; under that the wordmark closes up and the mark goes alone. The mark no smaller than 24 px. Below 32 px use the simplified mark; the favicon does.

Palette

The site’s own tokens, not new colour. The mark is built from them and the page you are reading uses them.

Typography

DM Sans is the brand typeface — the same face the Judge platform is set in — as a variable font from weight 100 to 1000. DM Mono is the code face. The wordmark is DM Sans ExtraBold (800, optical size 40); interface copy sits at 400, emphasis at 500–700. Both are published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the licence ships in the kit and applies to the files below.
